It is a sad state when you have fun surfing waist high wind chop. However, I found a spot on my usual beach that gets fun when the tide is rising and two hours from high tide.  It breaks right on the sand bar and is quick.  A welcome relief from the usual mushy wind chop.  

A few weeks I'll be in CA, then El Salvador.  This means when I return, I'll be spoiled and probably won't go out in these conditions or think they are fun.
